The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon came from behind to beat Ethiopia 4-1 in an Africa Cup of Nations Group A match at the Olembe Stadium in Yaounde, Cameroon, on Thursday evening.
The Walias shocked the Indomitable Lions when they scored first through 25-year-old striker Dawa Hotessa in the fourth minute.
But their lead was short-lived as the Indomitable Lions equalised through Karl Toko Ekambi’s header four minutes later.
And it looked like the Walias were going to match the Indomitable Lions until Vincent Aboubakar headed in Cameroon’s second goal in the 53rd minute. Two minutes later, Aboubakar completed his brace when he made it 3-1.
This was the second successive match Aboubakar scored a brace as he did the same in the group opener against Burkina Faso last Sunday. The Indomitable Lions pressed hard and Toko Ekambi completed his brace in the 67th minute.
