Coach Kurt Lentjies fully understands the kind of threat the University of Pretoria pose to his team Chippa United’s dream of repeating last season’s feat in the Nedbank Cup.

The Chilli Boys, who lost 1-0 to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in the final which was held at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein last season, are going to clash against AmaTuks away at the Tuks Stadium in Pretoria at 15h00 on Friday.

“They are always a dangerous team to play against. Obviously, we are well prepared. We will see when he game starts. Obviously, we need to win,” Lentjies, who coaches the Chilli Boys, said.

The former Chilli Boys and Maritzburg United midfielder does not think the team from Gqeberha are under going to this match.

Meanwhile, AmaTuks have, in the past, shocked a number of Premier Division sides in this competition and Lentjies does not wish that to happen to the Chilli Boys.

AmaTuks beat Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic and Ajax Cape Town before losing to Moroka Swallows in the final during the 2008/9 season.
