Chippa United are out of the Nedbank Cup after they were beaten 2-0 by GladAfrica Championship side University of Pretoria at the Tuks Stadium in Pretoria on Friday.
It looked like the match, which had to be stopped after only 16 minutes because of lightning, was heading for a draw until Lulama Maqoko headed in AmaTuks’ first goal in the 80th minute.
A minute later, Kamohelo Pheeane made it 2-0 following a blunder by Chilli Boys goalkeeper Ayanda Mtshali.
