Two goals in five minutes helped Royal AM beat Cape Town City 2-1 in a Nedbank Cup last-32 match at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban on Saturday afternoon.
The first 10 minutes in each half were very important in this match as Khanyisa Mayo gave Royal AM goalkeeper Patrick Nyame no chance when he scored for the Citizens in the ninth minute.
Royal AM equalised through Relebogile Mokhuoane’s own goal in the 49th minute. Five minutes later, Lantshene Phalane gave the home team the lead when he scored from a free kick.
