Azinga ‘Golden Boy’ Fuzile is back to where it all started and has returned to Mzamo ‘Chief’ Njekanye.
Fuzile grew up under Njekanye before leaving him for Colin Nathan’s Hot Box Gym in Johannesburg.
“Yes, Azinga is back with me. We started working together again on Monday. We just came back from training,” Njekanye.
“East London people, who think know boxing were talking nonsense about me saying I have reached the ceiling. Maybe they were talking about the ceiling they see whenever they are lying on their backs at their homes.”
Fuzile, who was with Njekanye when Ink Sport called him, confirmed that he left HotBox Gym.
“I’m back home now,” the Duncan Village-born boxer said.
It was Njekanye, who led Fuzile to the South African featherweight triumph when he outpointed Macbute Sinyabi in September 2016.
