KwaZulu-Natal club Royal AM have won the DStv Premiership Innovation quarter three after collecting 17 points in eight matches.
Thwihli Thwahla won the eight-match third quarter despite winninng the same number of points as Cape Town City. Both Thwihli Thwahla and the Citizens had the same number of points and goal difference.
Thwihli Thwahla edged the Citizens after scoring 13 goals and conceding six compared to the Cape club’s 12 and five conceded goals. Both teams won five matches, drew two and lost one.
Meanwhile, champions Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs collected 14 points with the Brazilians finishing third and Amakhosi fourth.
