FIFA has lifted the three-year transfer ban it imposed on Limpopo-based Premier Division side Marumo Gallants.
Bahlabane ba Ntwa were banned from registering players for three years following a dispute with former Kaizer Chiefs striker Gustavo Paez from Venezuela.
Gallants, who were then called Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM), prematurely terminated Paez’s contract in 2020 without compensating him.
The Venezuelan took the matter to FIFA who in turn imposed the transfer ban on Gallants. The ban was only lifted after Gallants and the 32-year-old Paez reached a settlement.
