Egyptian giants Al Ahly are going to play against Wydad Club Athletic from Morocco in the final of the CAF Champions League on Monday, 30 May.

This comes after the Red Devils beat Entente Sportive de Serif with a 6-2 aggregate in the semi-finals.The two sides drew 2-2 in the second leg played at the 5 July 1962 Stadium in Algeria on Saturday evening. 

Coach Pitso Mosimane’s boys beat the Algerians 4-0 in the first leg held at the AI Salam Stadium in Cairo, Egypt, last weekend. 

The Red Devils raced to a 1-0 in the second minute after Ahmed Abdelkader scored following an assist from Percy Tau. 

Ahmed Kendouci equalised for Setif on the stroke of half-time and Riad Benayad gave the Algerians the lead in the 61st minute. 

Second half substitute Mohamed Sherif levelled matters for the Red Devils’ after he was fed by Tau on added time. 

Meanwhile, Moroccan side Wydad beat Petro Atletico from Angola 4-2 on aggregate in Morocco on Friday evening. 

Wydad defeated Petro 3-1 away in Angola last week and they drew 1-1 in the second leg.
