A last-minute goal by Siphiwe Msimango against Chippa United in a DStv Premiership match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Saturday afternoon proved too valuable for his team TS Galaxy.
The goal was enough to give the Rockets a 1-0 win over the Chilli Boys and also ensured that they remained in the Premier Division.
As a result of the win, coach Sead Ramovic’s boys finished the season in 13th place with 30 points from 30 matches.
Meanwhile, after flirting with relegation throughout the season, Baroka FC finally got the chop following a 1-0 loss to Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
