Orlando Pirates trounced Maritzburg United 4-1 in a DStv Premiership match played at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Tuesday evening.
Thembinkosi Lorch, Kwame Peprah, Deon Hotto and Kabelo Dlamini scored for Pirates while Friday Samu netted for the Team of Choice.
The Buccaneers have now moved one place – from seventh to sixth on the Premiership standings with 43 points from 28 matches.
Pirates are now left with two away matches against Royal AM on Friday and SuperSport United on Monday next week.
