Angolaa and Botswana collected much-needed points in the Cosafa Cup at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, Durban, on Thursday.
Angola defeated Seychelles 3-0 to top their group while Botswana edged out Comoros to book a place in the quarter-finals.
Angola have now won two back-to-back games in the Cosafa Cup for the first time since 2006, the year they reached the FIFA World Cup finals.
They followed up their victory over Comoros on Tuesday with this win and need just a draw against Botswana on Sunday to seal top spot in the group and book a quarter-final match against five-time winners Zambia.
The Angolans scored in the 14th minute through Julinho before Megue doubled the lead from a controversial spot kick. Vanilson finished off Seychelles with a good strike to make it 3 -0.
Meanwhile, Baokeditswe Talane scored the only goal of the game when Botswana beat Comoros 1-0 in another match.
