The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has charged Cape Town City for failing to obtain approval from its executive committee before the Citizens acquired their FNB sponsorship. 

The Cape club announced the commercial bank as its main sponsor before the beginning of this season. The Citizens have now been ordered to appear before a PSL disciplinary committee  next Monday at 18h30. 

Meanwhile, Swallows FC have also been charged by the PSL after they delayed the start of their match against the Citizens at the Dobsonville Stadium on Tuesday last week. The Dube Birds are going to be hauled before the PSL DC at 16h30 on Thursday.
