TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic fully understands that it’s only three matches into the new season as the Rockets are second on the Premiership table.
The Rockets have had a good start winning twice and drawing once. One of their victories was a win over defending DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns away.
“We are happy that we had a good start. It’s just three games. Hopefully, we will work hard. We just have to stay humble and calm,” Ramovic remarked on Wednesday.
The Rockets have scored three times and are yet to concede in their first three matches and Ramovic has insisted that the season is going to be too long.
“We have to continue to work hard. I would like us to stay calm. I’m just proud about my team,” the 43-year-old Stuttgart-born Ramovic said.
The Rockets have signed experienced players like Sibusiso Vilakazi from Mamelodi Sundowns and Bernard Parker, who was discarded by Kaizer Chiefs. And Ramovic has reiterated that there will be no preferential treatment.
“With the quality they have they bring a lot of mentality in our squad. Everybody will be judged based on performance. Of course, these kind of players have a lot of quality. We just have to work harder and stay calm. It will be a really tough season, we just have to give it our best,” Ramovic said.
Meanwhile, the Rockets have a date with struggling Lamontville Golden Arrows away at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, Durban, on Saturday afternoon.
