Orlando Pirates have confirmed the return of Kermit Erasmus, who was signed from DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 32-year-old Erasmus has signed a two-year contract with the Buccaneers. This is Erasmus’ second stint with Bucs having played for them between 2013 and 2016.
Gqeberha-born Erasmus joined Sundowns from Cape Town City in 2020. Bad luck and injuries conspired against him at the Brazilians.
Erasmus’ contract with Sundowns was due to expire in May next year. Sundowns and Erasmus agreed on an early termination to allow him to join a team of his choice.
