Bafana Bafana finally came good as they clobbered Sierra Leone 4-0 in an international friendly match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday afternoon.

Bafana returnee Themba Zwane turned a defender and took a shot past Leone Stars goalkeeper Mohamed Kamara to give the South Africans the lead in the 33rd minute.

Mihlali Mayambela made it 2-0 when he scored on debut from Zakhele Lepasa’s cross four minutes into the second half.

Bafana pushed forward in search of more goals and Zwane completed his brace in the 64th minute after he received a cross from Kgaogelo Sekgota.

Coach Hugo Broos’ men were not done yet as Aubrey Modiba made it 4-0 following a good move by Khanyisa Mayo in the 72nd minute.

Meanwhile, Bafana are going to clash with Botswana’s Zebras in another international friendly match at the same venue on Tuesday next week.
