Royal AM won the Macufe Cup after they beat Kaizer Chiefs 4-2 on penalties at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Sunday.
The match was decided on spot kicks after the two sides had played to a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
There were no goals until the 87th minute when Ruzaigh Gamildien netted for Thwihli Thwahla beating Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma with a grass cutter.
Keagan Dolly levelled matters for Amakhosi with a stunning shot in referee’s added time and sent the match to penalties.
