A merciless England Women’s team humiliated the Springbok Women’s side 75-0 in a Rugby World Cup match in Auckland, New Zealand, on Sunday.

This was a proper hiding from an impressive team that have registered a 28-match winning streak

England crossed the try line a record 13 times to make sure that the South Africans return home without winning a single match at the tournament.

Rosie Galligan and Connie Powell scored three tries each while Poppy Cleall and Sadia Kabeya got two fivers each. Shaunagh Brown, Marlie Packer and Abby Dow scored the other tries.

The South Africans lost to France in the opening match and were then beaten by Fiji in the second group game.
