Springbok and Sharks centre Lukhanyo Am is one of the four nominees for the 2022 World Rugby Men’s 15s Player of the Year award. 

The 28-year-old Am, who is from Qonce in the Eastern Cape, deservedly got nominated after doing very well for the Springboks. 

Am is competing for the same award with France captain Antoine Dupont as well as Irish duo Johnny Sexton and Josh van der Flier. 

The winner is going to be announced at an awards ceremony NBon Sunday, 20 November.
