Morocco made history by becoming the first African team to reach the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup after they defied the odds and beat Portugal 1-0 at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on Saturday evening.
Youssef En-Nesryi’s 43rd minute headed goal was the difference between the two teams as the Atlas Lions made World Cup history.
The Atlas Lions are now going to play in the semi-finals against the winner between England and France, who meet at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor at 21h00 on Saturday.
