English Premier League side Liverpool have announced that they have reached an agreement to sign Cody Gakpo from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
The 23-year-old Gakpo starred for Netherlands and scored three goals when they reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar.
“PSV and Liverpool have reached an agreement on the proposed transfer of Cody Gakpo. The 23-year-old attacker will leave for England imminently where he will be subjected to the necessary formalities ahead of the completion of the transfer,” a statement from the Eredivisie side said.
