Relegation-threatened Marumo Gallants won for the first time in nine matches when they beat Sekhukhune United 2-0 in a DStv Premiership tie at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in Phokeng, Rustenburg, on Saturday evening.
After the match was paused because of floodlight problems and then restarted, Lucky Mohomi gave Gallants the lead in the 31st minute.
Letsie Koapeng doubled Gallants’ lead with a long range shot, which hit the crossbar before the ball kissed the net in the 60th minute.
