There’s is a sense of relief in South African football circles after Bafana Bafana qualified for the next Africa Cup of Nations finals to be held in Ivory Coast in January next year.
This followed after coach Hugo Broos’ boys defeated Liberia 2-1 in an AFCON qualifier away at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Monrovia on Tuesday evening.
Bafana’s goals were scored by Zakhele Lepasa in the 19th minute and Miihlali Mayambela eight minutes into the second half while William Jebor netted for the home side in the 35th minute.
