It was a damp squib as the much-awaited Boxing South Africa (BSA) disciplinary hearing of Charrit Mukondeleli and promoter Shereen Hunter didn’t take place on Wednesday.
Going to the BSA offices in Hatfield, Pretoria, proved to be a waste of time and money for Mukondeleli and Hunter as the chairperson and the prosecutor of the regulatory body’s disciplinary committee failed to pitch up on Wednesday morning.
Mukondeleli’s appearance before the BSA DC has now been postponed to Thursday next week. And there’s a likelihood that the hearing would be done virtually.
Mukondeleli, who was one of the nominees for the Manager of the Year award nominees at the South African Boxing Awards, has been charged with gross misconduct.
