Defending champions Orlando Pirates are going to play against Mamelodi Sundowns in the final of the MTN8 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 7 October.
This followed after the Buccaners drew 2-2 on aggregate with Stellenbosch FC. Stellies beat Pirates 1-0 in the MTN8 second leg at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Sunday afternoon.
Stellies scored in the 22nd minute when Iqraam Rayners sent a shot from outside the box and the ball deflected on Pirates marksman Zakhele Lepasa.
The Buccaneers advanced to the final of the competition courtesy of the away goal rule after they defeated Stellies 2-1 in the first leg played at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town earlier this month.
