Kaylin Swart is hoping for yet another win when Banyana Banyana clash against Botswana in an international friendly match at the Wits University Stadium in Johannesburg on Tuesday (15h00).
Banyana Banyana go into the Botswana following a 3-1 win over Zambia on Saturday.
“The come from behind just showed the character of the team and just how much we have grown. We all know that turning the scoreline is not easy,” Swart said referring to the win over Zambia.
“There are so many things that we can look forward to and it starts with these friendly matches. It is always the little things like those built the team character as well as individual character.”
Swart now is focused on the Botswana match as she wants Banyana Banyana to continue winning.
“It’s another big task for us as we know what Botswana can produce. Yes, it is a friendly match. We had some heartbreak against them in the past,” she said.
Banyana Banyana are using these friendly matches to prepare for the 2022 CAF African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers, which are going to start later this year.
