The Proteas won their second match at the 2023 Cricket World Cup after they humiliated Australia by 134 runs in Lucknow, India, on Thursday. 

The South Africans posted 311 runs in their allotted 50 overs and chasing the Proteas’ score, the Australians struggled to 177 all out in 40.5 overs. 

Proteas wicketkeeper and top order batsman Quinton de Kock walked away with the Player of the Match award after he knocked 109 runs from 106 deliveries.
