Spectator misbehaviour has landed Kaizer Chiefs in the dog box for the third time since the beginning of this season.

Premier Soccer Leaghe (PSL) prosecutor Advocate Zola Majavu announced on Monday afternoon that Amakhosi had been charged with spectator misbehaviour and will be hauled before the PSL disciplinary committee at 11h30 on Tuesday next week.

“This (Monday) afternoon, I preferred charges of spectator misbehaviour and unruly conduct Kaizer Chiefs Football Club as a sequel to what transpired in their recent match against AmaZulu this past Saturday,” Majavu said.

“Until then as per usual there will be no running commentary on the matter and I will formerly announce the outcome once the PSL DC has pronounced itself on the matter.”

Angry Amakhosi supporters pelted Molefi Ntseki, who was fired on Monday, with missiles after the team lost 1-0 to AmaZulu in a Carling Knockout last-16 match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday evening.
