AmaZulu confirmed on Saturday morning the return of Zambian-born striker Augustine Mulenga, who has signed a six months contract with an option to renew.
The Zambian rejoined Usuthu after he left Eastern Cape-based Premiership club Chippa United on Friday. Mulenga had only been with the Chilli Boys since the beginning of the current season.
The 34-year-old Mulenga scored eight goals in 39 matches in the two seasons he spent at the Durban club before returning to Zambia.
