Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed the signing of former South African national Under-23 star Tashreeq Matthews from Swedish side IK Sirius on Friday evening.
The 23-year-old Matthews scored 10 goals with 10 assists in 30 games for the Swedish club last season.
“Masandawana, we have a new member in the Yellow Family! Let’s welcome winger, Tashreeq Matthews, back to South Africa,” a Sundowns statement said on Friday.
