Orlando Pirates defeated Polokwane City 1-0 in a DStv Premiership match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday afternoon.
Following a goalless forst half, Bafana Bafana and Pirates striker Evidence Makgopa headed in following Deon Hotto’s free kick for the match’s only goal in the 68th minute.
And with this victory in Limpopo, the Soweto-based Buccaneers moved to fourth position while Rise and Shine remained in ninth spot on the DStv Premiership standings.
