Former Kaizer Chiefs, Lamontville Golden Arrows, Ria Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic defender Siphiwe Mkhonza has passed away. He was 44.
Springs-born Mkhonza, who was an SABC Sport football analyst, was hospitalised as he had been battling kidney problems and was later discharged before he passed away.
A son of Chiefs legend Joseph ‘Skeshekeshe’ Mkhonza, the former SuperSport United defender had not been on TV for quite some time before he succumbed to death.
