AmaZulu have reached the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup following a 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane in Polokwane on Thursday evening.
The Durban side went into the half-time break leading 1-0 through Junior Sede Dion’s controversial goal in the 26th minute. Babina Noko players complained to match referee Luxolo Badi saying that the ball had touched Dion’s hand before rolling into the net.
Substitute Victor Letsoalo made sure that Usuthu moved to the last eight of the competition after he netted in the 62nd minute. Letsoalo had replaced Dion at the beginning of the second half.
