Mamelodi Sundowns are on the verge of a successful DStv Premiership title defence after they crushed TS Galaxy 3-0 at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Monday evening.
Namibian-born striker Peter Shalulile, who had had a dry spell before the match, gave the Tshwane giants the lead in the 26th minute.
Nine minutes later, Shalulile completed his brace to give the Brazilians, who are unbeaten in 47 DStv Premiership matches, a 2-0 lead at half-time.
And Thembinkosi Lorch put matters beyond the Rockets’ reach when he netted the Brazilians’ third goal in the 65th minute.
