Stellenbosch FC from the Cape Winelands announced the completion of the signing of midfielder Sanele Barns from Richards Bay FC on Monday morning.
The 27-year-old Barns from Tweefontein in Mpumalanga played a massive role in making sure that the Natal Rich Boyz remained in the Premiership.
“Stellenbosch Football Club is delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached with Richards Bay Football Club for the transfer of Sanele Barns,” Stellies said.
The announcement of Barns’ signing came a day after Stellies had confirmed Empangeni-born Omega Mdaka’s arrival at the club.
