Bafana Bafana midfielder Teboho Mokoena has finally extended his contract with champions Mamelodi Sundowns, the club announced on Saturday afternoon.
Negotiations between the Brazilians and Mokoena’s representatives took longer than expected before a deal was reached for the player to remain at Sundowns until 2029.
“We are delighted to confirm that midfielder Teboho Mokoena has signed a contract extension until 2029,” a Sundowns statement said.
The 27-year-old Mokoena from Bethlehem in the Free State joined the Tshwane giants from SuperSport United in January 2022.
