Evidence Makgopa came off the bench and scored a brace as his team Orlando Pirates thrashed Polokwane City 3-0 in a Betway Premiership clash at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Tuesday afternoon.
After a goalless first half, the Buccaneers took the lead 10 minutes into the second stanza with Monnapule Saleng netting from a tight angle following a Relebohile Mofokeng pass.
Makgopa doubled the Buccaneers’ lead in the 86th minute and he completed his brace in referee’s added time when he capitalised on Raymond Daniels’ back pass to give Pirates their second victory in two matches.
