Former Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki has resurfaced at Kaizer Chiefs as the club’s head of technical and youth development.
The 51-year-old Ntseki has signed a three-year contract with Amakhosi with an option to renew for a further two years.
“We are delighted to have Molefi Ntseki at Kaizer Chiefs. Molefi comes at the right time as we implement changes that we believe are necessary for the club as we go into the future,” Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung said on the club’s website.
“We look forward to Molefi’s contribution within the Kaizer Chiefs set up. We believe he will work well with all the coaches from senior to junior levels and members of the technical team as we continue to build the club.”
Ntseki was fired as Bafana Bafana coach in March after he failed to take the team to the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.
Meanwhile, it’s believed that Amakhosi are set to appoint their former coach Stuart Baxter following Gavin Hunt’s chopping last week.
