Kaine ‘K9’ Fourie is set to test his fistic skills when he collides against unbeaten Ghanaian boxer Wasiru Mohammed from Accra in Johannesburg on Saturday, 23 November.

Mohammed comes highly recommended as he has stopped 12 of his 13 victims with Michael Akramah Tetteh being his most recent victim. Mohammed stopped Tetteh in the fifth round at the Bukom Boxing Arena Accra in June.

Fourie, on the other hand, scored a first round stoppage win over Siseko Makeleni when they fought for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) Africa lightweight title at Box Camp Booysens, Johannesburg, in his last fight almost four months ago.

With his skills honed by veteran trainer Gert Strydom, Fourie is also unbeaten as he has notched up eight wins with six knockouts and two draws.
