Filipino boxers Jayson Mama and Jhunrick Carcedo landed at the OR Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park on Saturday morning ahead of next weekend’s fights.
Mama is scheduled to challenge current International Boxing Organisation (IBO) junior-bantamweight champion Ricardo Malajika at the Emperors Palace in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, next Saturday.
And this is going to be the third time Mlajika defends the crown he won after he defeated Argentine boxer Kevin Luis Munoz in September 2023.
On the other hand, Carcedo has set up a date with Roarke Knapp at the same Kempton Park venue.
