Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed their passage to the group stages of the CAF Champions League after they thrashed Nigerian side Remo Stars 7-1 on aggregate.
After they defeated the Nigerians 5-1 in the first leg, the Tshwane giants defeated Stars 2-1 through goals from Nuno Miguel Valente Santos and Peter Shalulile at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday afternoon.
