Following Siya Vabaza-Booi’s resignation as Boxing South Africa (BSA) manager in the Eastern Cape last week, the fistic regulator can, at the moment, not confirm as to when the position is going to be advertised.

Currently, the position of Eastern Cape provincial manager is held by Phakamile Jacobs in an acting capacity. Jacobs, a former ring official, was Vabaza-Booi’s predecessor.

“At this point we are not able to confirm when exactly will the position be advertised. There are still internal processes to be followed to wrap up Ms Vabaza Booi’s exit,” BSA chief executive officer Tsholofelo Lejaka said.
