AmaZulu prevailed with a 2-1 win over Richards Bay FC in a Betway Premiership encounter at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday evening.
Usuthu were the first to score through Thabiso Kutumela’s free kick in the 28th minute. The Natal Rich Boyz replied through Sanele Barns’ goal from Thulani Gumede’s assist four minutes before the half-time break.
Following a moment of brilliance, Hendrick Pule Ekstein scored Usuthu’s winning goal after some good work from his own half six minutes before the end of regulation time .
