Orlando Pirates are back on top of the Betway Premiership standings following a 3-0 whipping of AmaZulu at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The Buccaneers took the lead in the 14th minute through Yanela Mbuthuma’s goal and Oswin Appollis made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time.
Relebohile Mofokeng netted the Buccaneers’ third goal 14 minutes into the second half. Pirates, who have played 25 matches, have now accumulated 58 points, two more than second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns.
