Seeking much-needed regular action, Kimberley-born midfielder, Mohau Nkota, has returned to Orlando Pirates and was announced as a new Buccaneer on Thursday evening.

The 21-year-old Nkota,  who joined Saudi Pro League side, Al-Ettifaq, from the Buccaneers last year, is on a season long loan at the reigning Betway Premiership champions.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to welcome Mohau Nkota back on a season loan,” the Buccaneers announced.

Because of his lack of game time at the Saudi side, Nkota missed out on going to the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Bafana Bafana in June.
