Manqoba Mngqithi expects a tough fight when his team Mamelodi Sundowns come up against Chippa United in a DStv Premiership tie in Gqeberha on Tuesday.
The Sundowns co-coach is going to lead the Brazilians in search of their second win of the season. The match is going to be played at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium at 17h00.
Sundowns defeated AmaZulu 1-0 in their opening fixture in Pretoria last Friday while the Chilli Boys also won their opening match beating Sekhukhune United by the same scoreline in Tembisa on Saturday.
“I’m expecting a tough match. Knowing Gavin Hunt, even the goal they scored against Sekhukhune was from a set piece. They’ve got some strong players,” Mngqithi said.
“You can expect a game that will have a lot of aerial duels, a game that will have a lot of bite because Chippa works very hard and Gavin you know his teams are never easy to break down.”
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates travel to Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane for a date with Marumo Gallants at 17h00.
The Buccaneers were held to a 2-2 draw by Stellenbosch FC on Saturday and Gallants lost 2-0 to Baroka FC one the same day.
