Orlando Pirates strolled to a 3-0 win over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in a DStv Premiership fixture at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Buccaneers’ goals were scored by Deon Hotto, Gabandinho Mhango and Fortune Makaringe.
Hotto, formerly with Bidvest Wits, netted his first league goal of the season following a pass from Vincent Pule in the 16th minute. Pule dispossessed TTM’s Meshack Maphangule and fed the ball to Hotto.
Mhango, meanwhile, scored his second goal of the current campaign after he received a nice pass from Thembinkosi Lorch six minutes before half time.
Lorch was the provider once again when he laid a pass for Makaringe to net Pirates’ third goal in the 65th minute. That was Makaringe’s second league goal this season.
Meanwhile, SuperSport United twin strikers Thamsanqa Gabuza and Bradley Grobler, who scored his 10th goal of the season, were on the score sheet when Matsatsantsa a Pitori beat Bloemfontein 2-1 at the
Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville. Victor Letsoalo scored for Phunya Sele Sele.
