Coach Mandla Ncikazi’s Lamontville Golden Arrows’ unbeaten run continued as they beat a 10-man Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 1-0 in a DStv Premiership match at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, Durban, on Saturday afternoon.

Velemseni Ndwandwe’s goal in the 19th minute gave Abafana Bes’thende their fourth win of the season.

Things didn’t go well for Vhadau Vha Damani in this match as they were forced to make an early substitution when right back Diamond Thopola picked up an injury. He was replaced by Tebogo Thangwane in the eighth minute.

As if that was not enough, TTM suffered yet another blow when their midfielder Joseph Molangoane was sent for an early shower in the half hour mark.

Abafana Bes’thende have now collected 18 points from 10 matches while TTM have nine points from 11 games.

Meanwhile, SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns played to a goalless draw in a Tshwane derby at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.

Matsatsantsa a Pitori are on 23 points from 11 matches and log-leaders Sundowns have collected 25 points in 11 games.
