Unbeaten Sivenathi “Special One” Nontshinga is going to have home ground advantage when he fights in an elimination bout on Sunday, 25 April.
The knockout specialist from East London is going to face Filipino boxer Christian Araneta in an International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-flyweight eliminator.
Rumble Africa Promotions (RAP), who promote Nontshinga, announced this on Tuesday.
Initially, Nontshinga was due to face Abraham Rodriguez, but the Mexican declined the offer.
The winner of the Nontshinga-Araneta fight is going to challenge current IBF junior-flyweight champion Felix Alvarado from Nicaragua.
