It looks like Orlando Pirates have Kaizer Chiefs’ number this season as they beat them for the third time following their 2-1 win in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Saturday afternoon.
Thembinkosi Lorch and Siphesihle Ndlovu netted for the Buccaneers while Daniel Cardoso scored for Amakhosi.
Chiefs, who are recovering from a very bad start to the season, were not humiliated in this match like it was the case when Pirates beat them 5-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals of the MTN8 earlier this term. The Buccaneers beat Chiefs 3-0 in the first leg and 2-0 in the second leg.
