Bloemfontein Celtic coach John Maduka is satisfied after he led Phunya Sele Sele to a 1-0 win over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in a DStv Premiership match at the Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Mangaung on Saturday evening.
Phunya Sele Sele’s goal was scored by Motebang Sera early in the match.
“It’s a good feeling. It was a very difficult game. We did start very well, we scored an early goal,” Maduka said.
“In the second half we had to try and keep the ball a little longer. Credit to the boys, they worked very hard. That is how we win games. We are happy to get the three points.”
Celtic shift focus to the Nedbank Cup as they have a date with Cape Town City away next Saturday.
